One of the last tracks to be completed for We Will Not Be Silent.

With a nice little sample from the old Amiga 1200 at the start, that pretty much is from the idea of the song title "Running From Mountains"... of work!

At the time, I was busy with many things and I at the lead sample with just a beat behind it on a track that was 40 seconds long, so one night to "get away from it", I had some Lucozade (yes, hardcore stuff) by me and cracked on with it. By the next morning this song was born.

It was an apt title as getting away from my work was exactly what I was doing by being creative for fun. The lead sample made me want to get onto the slopes and go snowboarding, hence the mountain reference coinciding with "mountains of work"). The Amiga sample was added at the start to set the scene of sitting at the desk and then leaving it all behind for the duration of the song...

Though in 2012, do many people even know what a floppy disc is, never mind still use them? Ah well, it's got a retro feel in that case I guess :)
